Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be among the top gymnasts. She was the first American female gymnast ever to win four gold medals during one Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to win successive World All-Around championships. Biles together with her twins Adria and Ronald Biles were adopted as young children by grandparents from Houston. Simone began to be interested in the sport of gymnastics when she was only six years old. The coach Aimee Borman invited her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went on an outing. Biles took home a medal in vault, and a bronze medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin participating in the elite level of the sport. Two years later, she dominated the sport. Biles was notable for her consistently high performance and exuberant personality as well as the difficult routines she performed at all four events such as vault, bars with uneven surfaces and the balance beam.
