Alia Shawkat was born in California in the city of Riverside on 18 April 1989. She's currently one of America's best known and wealthiest TV Actresses. She played Maeby Funke in the Fox show Arrested Development a role that was awarded an TV Land Future Classic Award. Ellen Page was her co-star in Whip It. From 2001 to 2004, Shawkat played Hannah in State of Grace. Also, as Maeby Funke Shawkat was a regular on the cast of Arrested Development for the entire period from 2003 until in 2018. Shawkat received praise for her appearances on the show. Brian M. Palmer, the pop-culture critic and journalist noted that Shawkat was among the brightest stars of the show that was dominated with bright stars. Scott Weinberg from eFilmCritic said she was a funny, young lady. In an interview with A.V. Shawkat confessed in the year 2010 that some of her most memorable scenes in acting took place on the Arrested Improvement stage. Mitch Hurwitz acted as a father to me. My time in the set of Arrested Development was so valuable to me because it allowed my appreciation of comedy to develop. Shawkat participated part of Harmar Superstar. Alice Braga has also played her role as Teresa Mendoza within the crime drama/thriller television series Queen of the South. Her performance brought her a great deal of praise in her career.
