Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta, beginning with her farmer great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts. Early in his life the father of her mother became obsessed by the theater. He was a part of the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions around Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the air force. They got married in 1955. Their first son, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. In 1957, the couple quit the military and Walter was enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter worked for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for 6 years. The couple had another two children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa), and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known as Julie).
