Ariel started her acting career at a young age, starring in a Cool Whip commercial at age six. She landed her first television performance at the age of seven in an episode of the CBS sitcom Listen Up!. Then she followed it up with performances on TV shows such as Monk Bones and ER. In 2007 was cast in the role of Gretchen for the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. Her first part in live action was two years later as Alex Dunphy of the hit TV show Modern Family.
