Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows she saw in the grass inspired her to spend months developing the technique that, however, did not paint the selected object onto canvas. The subject is a mirror of its own, while the canvas is carrying the painterly interpretation of the object, particularly when it's a live item or something perishable, for example, fruit or humans. The ephemeral nature of her painting style is evident and the only thing that remains in Alexa Meade's work is the photographic image. Both the painting and photographic techniques are so tightly coordinated that the end result is an unflat, 2-dimensional space, which achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension can only be seen in certain areas that are close to the eyes, or near hair. Meade often incorporates models painted into the environment around them. It allows them to engage with the environment the artist has constructed. Through this, Meade has dissolved the boundaries between photography, painting and the performance.
